Mangrove Traditional “Pan Round Neck” Band 1980 Early pans were played with a strap around the neck hence the term“Pan Round Neck” they were accompanied by percussion being played on old car brake drums (known as Iron) and even empty rum bottles. We have recreated these forgotten times of old time Pan with our “Pan Round Neck” package which includes 3 pan players one iron man and one bottle man playing classic calypsos such as Harry Belafonte’s “Island In The Sun” that will take you and your guests down memory lane. You'll have a blast as we recreate the early days of pan for you and your guests. audiences love it.
